Delivery and Installation of a Manual Overhead Crane for a Water Facility in Zvole

Although most of the lifting equipment we supply is electrically driven, there are still specific applications where a manual drive is a far more efficient and suitable solution. We handled precisely such a requirement in May 2026, when, in full accordance with the customer's wishes, we designed, manufactured, and successfully installed a manual overhead crane at a water facility in Zvole near Prague.

It is a one-ton crane equipped with a reliable chain hoist. The equipment is primarily intended for occasional scheduled maintenance of water management infrastructure, for which a manually operated crane is an ideal and sufficient choice due to its low frequency of use. Crane operation across all three axes is controlled using endless chain loops directly from the operating floor. This floor is located below ground level, with the total maximum lifting height reaching nearly 10 meters.

A unique feature of this project was the installation itself. The crane equipment had to be installed inside an enclosed monolithic concrete structure accessible only through very small openings. However, because the installation technicians at Adamec Crane Systems have many years of experience with even the most extreme and space-constrained installations, the entire system was successfully positioned, assembled, and commissioned into full operation without any complications.
