For our client, who specializes in the processing of semi-finished and finished metallurgical products, we successfully carried out a complete modification and expansion of their crane equipment in cooperation with a construction company. The entire installation and system commissioning took place in a newly renovated hall between March and May 2026.
A key part of the reconstruction was the complete design and supply of a new crane runway. It was engineered to provide sufficient load capacity for a newly delivered crane with a capacity of 12.5 tonnes. We installed this new overhead crane, fitted with our unique patented bridge girder, on the newly constructed runway to the customer's full satisfaction.
The new 12.5 t crane will operate along the crane runway alongside an older, but still fully functional, 5 t capacity crane. Despite its age, the older 5 t crane did not require any extensive repairs. Since both cranes share a single runway, only a necessary replacement of its travel wheels was carried out to ensure full compatibility with the new crane rail.
