On behalf of the construction company BAK, we supplied a small underslung crane and crane track for the Memphared II project led by Charles University in Hradec Králové.
The installation of the underslung crane was again carried out in very confined conditions, but the crane is really small – it is a half-ton crane with a span of only 2.1 m. The crane is mounted on a crane runway less than 10 m long.
This very specific crane has an extremely low installation height, which was achieved with a welded girder with a side connection and a Stahl CraneSystems STK hoist with the lowest possible construction height. The crane is, of course, fully electric and all movements are two-speed. The crane runway is anchored directly to the reinforced concrete skeleton of the building, bypassing and leaving space for the necessary installations above the crane.
We believe that users from the pharmaceutical and medical faculties in Hradec Králové will be fully satisfied with the crane, even though its purpose is not a very cheerful one.
If you also have a building in which it seems impossible to install a crane, please contact us and we will discuss our and your options for lifting any load.
