We always make made-to-measure cranes on the basis of the specific needs of our customers, and use top quality components by Stahl, Wampfler, HBC and Lenze. As a standard, we undertake manufacture, transportation, assembly and load testing, individual testing, as well as adjustments of hoisting equipment and electronics; i.e. we offer a full turnkey service and delivery.

They are suitable anywhere one needs to move any kind of load - whether in industrial plants, manufacturing sites or storage premises, whether indoors or outdoors. About cranes and services
Bridge cranes - reliable helpers for all kinds of industries.
Bridge cranes are suitable anywhere one needs to move heavy loads in three axes - from simple small cranes with a weight load of 63 kg, able to move products onto work tables, through to workshop cranes and cranes in auto or truck repair shops, as well as high- weight load cranes up to 250 t and more, process cranes, fully-automated and grab cranes.
As the name suggests, bridge cranes have hoisting equipment mounted on the crane's bridge. They consist of either one or two crane bridges (we distinguish between single girder and double girder overhead travelling cranes), end carriages with wheels and crane drives.
As a means of propulsion, we use asynchronous three-phase motors, usually controlled by a frequency inverter which ensures smooth motion and limits the sway of the load. The main part is the hoisting mechanism, hoist or double-girder crab. The crane is further comprised of electric installations, power supply, control cables and the control pendant.
Overhead travelling single girder cranes
Single girder cranes are used for loads from 63 kg to 16 000 kg, although exceptionally they can lift up to 25 000 kg. Their span can reach over 30 m. They are generally utilised in workshops, manufacturing processes, repair shops and the like, where a weight load of up to approx. 16t suffices.
The single girder version is cheaper, but is just as reliable as the double-beam one. The crane can be controled eiter by a control pendant or by radio. These cranes can be used for interior and exterior operations.
Overhead travelling double girder cranes
Double girder cranes are used for larger weight loads from approx. 10 000 kg up to 200 t, or for special applications, such as the transverse turning of moulds, where the more suitable tangential angle of the rope to the hoist drums of the two crabs allows for a greater leading angle of the rope.
Double girder cranes, especially those for heavier loads, can be equipped with a longitundial footwalk, suitable for servicing the heavier parts of the hoists and, for example, maintaining the lighting fixtures in the plant. Double girder cranes can be controlled by a control pendant, remote radio control units or from the cabin. Double girder cranes are also suitable for interior and exterior operations.
Underslung cranes are a variant of bridge cranes; the difference lies in the fact that the wheels are suspended on the crane runway on the underside, on the bottom flange. This solution is usually used when it is necessary to suspend the crane runway from beams or any type of ceiling.
Portal cranes move along a crane runway, which is at ground level, and consist of one or two bridges, the supports of the portal crane and end carriages with wheels and drives. Their limitation lies in the necessity to secure the area of movement of the crane supports and end carriages in line with current safety regulations.
Crane runways allow the movement of the crane.
Crane runways usually consist of a crane runway girder and a welded-on railway. Different runways are characterised by their safe loads, dimensions and the module (the longitudinal distance of crane runway supports varies). For higher loads, above approx. 100 t, the railway can be stand-alone, mounted on the crane runway by rectifiable pads. Each crane runway design is subject to current Eurocodes and, upon installation, must be geodetically determined so that its shape conforms to valid standards.
The crane runway must also include a power supply for the crane, consisting of either a slide or cable trolley.

Cranes can be equipped with all kinds of accessories, such as fork or polyp grabs.
Commercial weighing on cranes
Special equipment which includes a weighing apparatus with display, which can either be located on the crane, the crab or hoist or directly in the radio control unit. Precision can be such that the equipment conforms to commercial weighing standards.
Automated crane systems
Cranes can also be equipped with various control systems, from a simple contactor automation to a PLC computer which allows full control, with the possibility of links with overriding systems.
Other types of cranes supplied
We are also able to supply console cranes, attached to a pillar or column in the plant, or pillar cranes, which consist of a pillar with a rotating arm and a hoist activated either by hand or electrically. For rotating cranes, the base of the pillar must have sufficient load-bearing capacity, a product of the corresponding momentum and shifting force, and this generally requires the building of a base.
Operational conditions often require an individual crane design. Examples include: tandem (double) bridge cranes, with one or two hoists; cranes that are able to avoid various obstacles by themselves; cranes with coordinated functions, and cranes designated for exterior use in any type of weather.
Design drafting and static calculations
Our design department, headed by Ing. David Adamec and Ing. Josef Musílek, Ph.D., strives to at the forefront of developments in the design of cranes, trolleys, propulsion units, overheads and steel structures. All projects naturally conform to current Eurocodes, but we also use our own theories, based on long-term research and experience, which are not covered by Eurocodes. We design more complex steel constructions using an FEM system.
Calculations for ADAMEC CRANE SYSTEMS cranes are made using our own calculation and design software, ACS CraneCalc, thanks to which it is possible to make calculations of standard single or double girder cranes, crane railways or possible pillars within minutes, including generating a business offer.
Crane construction takes place using 3D CAD Autodesk Inventor. However, we can provide drafts in 2D AutoCad in any version. Our superb construction department can react flexibly to the varying needs of our clients.
Warranty and post-warranty servicing of cranes and hoists
We provide warranty and post-warranty servicing of our cranes, as well as the products of other suppliers, through our wide network of servicing centres. We service the hoists of our partner STAHL Crane Systems, as well as hoists of other manufacturers, such as Demag, Liftket, etc.
